PHEASANT VIEW HOMEOWNERS' ASSOCIATION

The undersigned, being the duly designated voting representative of the lot selected below of Pheasant View Subdivision, hereby requests that June Waldbauer, the current subdivision communications coordinator (a non-board member), casts this ballot for the election of members of the Board of Directors on the behalf of the person named below. The actual election will take place at the Annual Meeting of the Subdivision Membership, Monday, November 10, 2025, 7:00 P.M. via a Zoom virtual meeting. We encourage everyone to attend. Please note that any information entered below will only be used for official subdivision communications and will not be shared in any way.

Candidate Biographies

Name: Kate Borninski

Profession: Homemaker and Township Trustee

My husband, Tom and I have been married for 36 years, and we have 2 adult sons, one adult daughter plus a new daughter-in-law as of last spring. We moved to Pheasant View in 2000. I have a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan—Ann Arbor and did graduate work at Eastern Michigan University to receive my teaching certificate.

Previously, I was a teacher, and Tom is still working for an automotive supplier. I enjoy volunteer work and was formerly on the P-CCS school board. In addition to being a current Canton Township Trustee, I am a member of various township committees. I have been serving as the Secretary of Pheasant View Homeowners’ Association for the last two years.

Name: Jim Hegarty

Profession: Retired Business Professional

Jim has served on the PVHA Board since November 2013 and held the positions of President, Vice President and Secretary. Jim is also the Chairperson of the Architectural Review Committee (ARC).Jim retired from IBM in October 2024 and has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan – Dearborn in Communications and a master’s degree from Central Michigan University in Administration. He is married to Tammie, a retired pre-school teacher at Real Life Nursery School and Farms in Canton. They have two sons, Kyle, a Senior Programmatic Buyer at a Portland-based Marketing company and Keaton, an IBM Data & AI Brand Sales Specialist.

Name: Mark Waldbauer

Profession: Audio Engineer and Technical Director

My wife (June) and I moved to Canton in 1985 and our family moved to Pheasant View in 1999. I have served as Secretary to our subdivision and represented our membership as Roadway Manager to the Pheasant Run Roadway Maintenance Association (PRRMA) twice. In 2013, the board asked me to serve as Treasurer, the position I currently hold.

Professionally, I retired from Marshall Music Company in February of 2016 after thirty-one years working as a vendor to public and private schools in southeast Michigan. I then accepted a position at Northridge Church as Director of Campus Technology. I am vice-chair of the Canton Downtown Development Authority and serve as treasurer for the Canton Partnership for the Arts.

June is a computer consultant and software developer. She also volunteers her time working as our subdivision communications coordinator and together we maintain the subdivision web site. We have two grown children and four young grandchildren.
