What an exciting opportunity to improve the appearance of our subdivision!  Ever since we moved into the neighborhood in 1999, we have heard complaints about the appearance of the mis-matched mailboxes throughout the subdivision.  Roadway Manager, Kevin Whitaker and the other board members have been working diligently for more than a year to develop a resolution to the problem.  There is now a plan to fix it once and for all, but...

By now, you should have received an e-mail with the information below and a request for your vote.  If you have not received your e-mail ballot, please request one from and subscribe to our subdivision e-mail list using the button to the right.

The letter states:

In an effort to improve the appearance of the subdivision, the PVHA Board has been developing a plan to cost effectively standardize mailboxes. The intent is to replace them with matching attractive and durable mailboxes which could potentially increase property values throughout the association. Through the collection of previously unpaid assessments, we have accumulated sufficient savings allowing us to offer this mailbox initiative at no cost to you.

Removal of your existing mailbox, the purchase and installation of the new mailbox, and the ongoing mailbox maintenance will be responsibility of the association. This initiative will eliminate the mix of mailboxes we have currently, many of which are in disrepair with some not meeting post office compliance. The board has been working diligently with mailbox providers and the United States Postal Service (USPS) to determine the best product and placement possible.

Your mailbox is your personal property and we will not remove it without your approval as indicated by your response to this e-mail notice. To move forward in a way that is effective both for cost and appearance, we need the support of as many homeowners as possible. We hope that we can count on you to join us in this beautification effort.

The board will move forward with the mailboxes if at least 60% of the subdivision approves the initiative.  Here is a link to the latest proposed placement of the mailboxes based upon 100% participation.  Without full participation, this plan would need to be modified.

Thank you SO much for promptly returning your ballot so that we can move forward with this effort and improve the appearance of the subdivision!
